| Knowing how hard it is to get us together these days, it isn't too early to see if there is any interest in doing something for July. Suggestions for dates or themes? | | | |

| I could probably swing something the week of the 13th or the 20th. First and last week I'm out. | | | |

| July iinto the first week of August is always busy for us (lots of birthdays in our familes then). I'll keep an eye on things here and see if I can swing it. | | | www.roguefood.com -- www.cellartracker.com | |

| Mrs. T and I are heading out to the Holyland from July 13-19....and yes, that Holyland is SF and the wine country. All other dates are open in July. I hope not to have to cancel this time...

| Like Mr and Ms Trep we are gone mid July (11-18) so the following week is better- what about some sushi and champagne/ good summer time fare? Norm | | | |

| Looks like the week of the 20th is the best for the folks so far (except maybe PB and Goddess). Sushi and champagne sounds like a possible theme, but I don't want to rule out other things either. Perhaps we should see if we can find a place that we haven't been before and try somewhere new (at least in terms of Crü outings.) | | | |

| What about going to Corduroy? We haven't had a Cru dinner there since they've been in their new digs...just a thought.

| someplace new or not been to in a while is a good idea. There's always seafood, too. Didn't the guy from Circle Bistro head to DC Coast? | | | www.roguefood.com -- www.cellartracker.com | |

| Yes. Brendan Cox took over at DC Coast. Corduroy would be good too. As for themes, it is July after all, so how about whites, sparklers, chards, and other things of interest. Try for seafood.

| Not yet. Best days for me are Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. i.e., the 21st, 24th or 25th, but I can probably deal with other days too. Please chime in with your preferences. | | | |

| If I attend on my own, then July 21st works best, however if Mrs. T attends, either July 24th or 25th works. I can go with what works best for the rest of the Cru.

| Seems like a small turn to Corderoy and that's fine with me--23,24, or 25 are all ok and I like the whites and Sparklers theme. do we want to ask for a seafood sampler menu? Norm | | | |

| Since Norm's now chimed in regarding the dates that work for him, why not go for Friday, July 24th at Corduroy? Any objections? I also like the idea of doing whites and sparklers. What about the rest of the Cru?

| I'm all for doing it the 24th. However, I'm concerned that Corduroy might have their two bottle limit thing going still. If we can do it, and get permission to have more than two bottles, I say go for it. However, there might be some concern as to cost for some folks. If someone who is a regular at Corduroy, and knows Ferhat well, could check about making arrangments, it would be nice to do so now so we can get a committment from folks. I had suggested that we go somewhere different, but I have no problem with going with an old tried and true place if Cordury doesn't pan out or if there is a concern as to cost. | | | |

| I just talked to Ferhat (did I spell that right) at Corduroy about doing a dinner there Friday the 24th. They now have a one bottle per table limit, but . . . . . They could put us in the private room and we could bring our wines and be charged corkage. He wants me to send him an e-mail with more info. I told him I'd check with the group to get the sense of things and get back to him. He wanted to know if we were planning on a tasting menu, how many folks (I told him around 8, maybe a few more or less), etc. So please chime in. Should we go forward with it? Should we go for a fixed priced tasting menu? Can anyone commit to the date? Is there a maximum price level that will make or break attendance? If we can decide on these questions, I can e-mail him and ask for a price, etc. I'm willing to be the one to make the arrangements if the Crü is still interested. | | | |

| Ditto what Norm said. I'm in and hopefully Mrs. T will be as well. I'm good for the tasting menu too as long as they could substitute something for me that I don't eat. Otherwise, I'm good for choosing off the menu.
