We liked this wine. Clearly not a blockbuster but seemed well-stored and a rather nice recent buy at $41.

Clear ruby color; Floral and raspberry fruit on the slight nose; Flavors included cherry and raspberry fruit, a touch of tar with more florals and earthy, spice notes on the finish. Medium weight, balanced and clearly Nebbiolo. A good match with food but missing structure for continued long-term aging. Drink now or short-term hold. Decanted about 30 minutes before drinking with good results. (89 pts.)
