2003 Michel & Stéphane Ogier Côte-Rôtie Cuvée la Belle Hélène - France, Rhône, Northern Rhône, Côte-Rôtie (6/30/2009)
WIML91+

Tasted double blind at an offline.

Dark garnet to purple color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose light blueberry notes with bacon fat, black berries and dark plums. Flavors of black berries, a dash of cocoa powder and black cherries. Medium to bright acidity., medium tannins, medium body. Drink with a decant or hold.

My guess was this is a 2005 Northern Rhone wine. (91 pts.)

Joe-----Wine is like potato chips around me...if it's open, it's gone.
