Weird that they are just releasing these to the mailing list now, I received these through the wholesale channel 3-5 months ago.

That's typical for Marcassin.  I haven't gotten my release letter yet for the 05s.

Mailer came today.  Allocations are down which while unfortunate wasn't unexpected.  Prices remain unchanged.

Still wish I could get on this list. This is the only one I still lust after.

Dan, what were the allocations compared to the 2004 vintage?  I haven't received my mailer yet,.. maybe Monday.
I wish they offered an emailer, and took credit cards.

Down a third from 36 (both varietals) to 24.

Thanks Dan. My wife hid my mailer, saying I've got too much wine.
But, I found it!

I was allocated 14 bottles (6 chard/8 pinot), from 22 (10 chard/12 pinot)
a year ago.  My first vintage was 1999 after waiting many years.

It sounds like they will have a lot more wine in the 2006 vintage with
their 20 acres producing, and for certain there will be more openings
for their mailing list.  Is it their plan to only make wine from their
own grapes?  So, Blue Slide Ridge, Three Sisters, and Bondi Ranch
will no longer be available?   That's too bad because I enjoy the variety.

I agree it is too bad that they are going to stop producing their purchased grapes line of wines.  The more Marcassin to buy the better imo.
