| I just happen to go to the Sandler website in order to order some Zin, and lo-and-behold look what I found!
2008 Sandler SLH Pinot, $30/btl. 2008 Sandler Sonoma Coast Pinot, $30/btl
Ed said I was the first to find it and order, lol - mailer going out in a day or two, but you can order now. I'm already in for a case of each :) | | | Pinot Noir: It helps build strong bones. | |

| I had a bottle of the 2008 SLH the other night and it is, not suprisingly, crazy good. At that price, a ridiculous bargain. | | | Two thirds of the earth is covered by water. The rest is covered by Ed Reed. | |

| Ths is going to be a "back up the truck" order when I combine it with what my neighborhood wine group wants to add on. I am the only member of the group that regulary buys $40 wines, but they were all "stunned" at how good the August West and Roar wines were that we tasted at my house last month. I am guessing that at the $30 price point, they will all want quite a bit of this stuff. And $20 for the Syrah is just silly. | | | Beta testing a new signature. | |

| Wow, this is quick, coming after the '07 SLH Pinot Noir release about 2 months ago. I was too late on that one, so I guess I'll have to jump on this one quickly. Unfortunately, not the best week for a new offering, with Aubert ordered a couple of days ago and Bressler, Kutch and Rhys waiting for the credit card to cycle ... | | | Here's to nights we'll never remember with friends we'll never forget ! | |

| I went with 8 and 8. I'd have bought more, but I have way too much wine already! Fricking Williams Selyem on the same day! Ugh! | | | |

| Just tasted the 07 Buck Hill Zin. It doesn't taste very zin like? I would not have ever guessed zin. Does any one else have the same opinion? | | | |

| Jeremy, I had that opinion about the '06 Buck Hill Zin. The '07 was way different. Big, bold, dense jammy fruit. It's very much along the lines of some of the Carlisle offerings. The '08 is dialed back just a bit to be a little less powerful. I think I like the '08 slightly better because it doesn't overpower food. So to answer your question, to me '07 and '08 are quintesencial Zins. The '06 was more like a Pinot.

| Agree with everyone above, this is such a no-brainer. I ordered about 2 cases of mixed wines split with a friend. | | | |
