I'll be slowly implementing the new skin / site design tonight...

Therefore, the site will be an ABSOLUTE MESS for a couple hours as I update.

I could just take the entire site down...  but what fun would that be?   May as well let everyone see the process if they feel like it.

If you prefer not to witness the mess, just check back in a couple hours.

Not all the speed enhancements will be implemented yet.. but they will come soon after.  Just figure one thing at a time.

Please shrink the right frames "Vinocellar Updates", "Who's Online"; "Where are They". The skin looks good but the right frame is too prominent. :)

Better already! Now the VinoCellar font at the top of the screen. Doesn't need to be tiny but should shrink somewhat. TIA!

saying the VinoCellar logo is too big?   I agree... just want to make sure that's what you mean.

Yes, the VC logo is too big.

For me there is a noticeable improvement in page loading performance. Yaaayyyy! Thanks.

Great news... and I haven't even done all the performance enhancements yet.... so it still should get significantly better in the next few days.

I'm not saying the new skin DESIGN (look and feel) is really all that great. I'll keep working on it. However, the technology behind it is new and great. It's smaller, less javascript, search engines will like it MUCH better, and a lot easier to manage/maintain on my end.

I already decreased the logo size.. it's about 70% of what it was.

On my LCD, seeing the difference between read/unread threads is tough. Maybe a little more contrast between the two colors?

Thanks! Will still be making some tweaks... but it's a step in the right direction at least. ;-)
