2005 Tua Rita Bolgheri Perlato del Bosco - a good Tuscan in a restrained style. This is Sangio and Cab. Well-priced for the quality at $29.

Really, this is quite tasty and outstanding for Aussie Cabernet...however, the alcohol is a bit distracting.

| 1999 Langoa-Barton, delish, 92, 1999 produced some great Bordeaux and they can still be found for considerably less than 2000. | | | |

| jason: What did you think of the Hourglass? I passed on the mailer due to price, but this wine can still be had at that price through retail and I can't decide if I should grab a couple. Great scores from RMP and WS. Last night: 2004 Aubert "Reuling" Chardonnay. Hopefully an off bottle. Or else time did this no favors. All of the other 2004s I've had lately were wonderful, but this bottle was medicinal. | | | Beta testing a new signature. | |

| Jeez Jason, that's a lot of Chateaus! 2007 Cameron Chardonnay - My daughter pointed out that this was rather high in VA last time we had it. I didn't notice it then, but I did with this bottle. | | | Heater Allen Brewing - Hand-crafted Lager Beers | |

| 1999 Saddleback Cellars Cab - Damn! You have to age these 10 years! This wine was absolutely undrinkable for 10 years after vintage and then finally....FINALLY....it blossoms into a rustic complex fruit bomb. For those that have cellar space, these are worthy candidates. This bottling is a cross between a high quality petite syrah and the 1974 Heitz Martha's. Too bad it is my last bottle, but I had a case and went through them about one a year and gave a few away and here I am... | | | |
