One of the local stores had this and the 93 Volnay Santenots for under $60. It seemed like a no-brainer for well-aged Burgundy. Very dark clear purple in color (rather dark..) with some bricking around the rim; Fresh cherry, spice and secondary earthy aromas and flavors in a balanced package. Well-priced for the quality at around $55. Firmly in its drinking window. This lot recently released from the property and in seemingly good shape. (92 pts.)
