- 2002 Eyrie Vineyards Pinot Noir Reserve - USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley (5/14/2008)
Pale
garnet, almost rose-like. Very interesting aroma of cherries,
mushrooms, and forest floor. On the palate, black cherry flavors start
nicely and gain in intensity through the finish, with echoes of the
forest floor. By the finish, the black cherry is very intense. Overall,
light on the palate with very balanced and intense flavors. Excellent
mid-palate and mouth-feel. Great now, this should hold or improve over
the next five years. (92 pts.)
