All of a sudden, in the past hour, I can't preview any posts. Everytime I try it just seemingly hangs indefinitely until I finally just hit the Stop button on the browser. Occasionally I'll get a message saying I'm trying to post from an invalid host. I haven't changed anything on my end today and do not have my firewall running. The same thing happens with multiple browsers.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Joe

Got your PM as well. I'm looking into it. I may login to your account and try some test messages to see if it's account specific, so don't be alarmed.

I have been having the same problem this afternoon. All I get is the old "This page cannot be located" page.

This morning everything was fine.

I've just been posting them and then edit them if nescessary.

FWIW, this is still happening every time. If the Preview Post switch is turned on, I get blown out of the water and lose my post. I've gone into my profile and for the moment switched the Preview Post ON default to OFF for the moment until something can be figured out.

Testing - I'm having all kinds of trouble. Couldn't preview this post and I'm not sure the PMs are working.

Is the server hiccuping or something?

PM's are working (winetex I still need to reply)

However, email notifications need to be fixed now that the server is firewalled.

Don't know what the heck the preview post problem is yet..... Getting there! Lots of work to be done, lots of configurations to be done.

I had this problem a few times over the past couple days - preview would result in the The page cannot be displayed (right away). I haven't encountered it at all today...

WIML - if you are loosing your post completely when you hit the back button, clear your browser cache.

whoops! Spoke too soon - as I posted this it happened again

FWIW, on that last post - when I unchecked the preview post button I and hit continue I got the same error page, but when I went to do it once it again I got the message that the post already exists.

I've been getting a few random CGI scripting errors when clicking on a thread and somewhat goofy PM message errors (but the PMs all seem to go through).

It looks like I fixed it on my end. I blew away every Temporary Internet file and History file I could and apparently deleted a corrupted file on my end that was causing the problem.

Oh... that's interesting.... Must've happened when I firewalled Vinocellar. I moved the site to a new IP address.
