A quick question - how does one insert a URL with the appropriate text ID?  I've used the link editor but all it does it insert the URL - or so I think.

This is probably a user issue but the editor is so lame.  When I was adding my trip notes from Italy I had a terrible time with formatting such as paragraph spacing.  These are pretty basic things.

See what happens to the formatting when I insert the graemlin above?

I'm going to setup some test forums, in which each different test forum will use a different editor. Then we can test them all out and vote on which one you'd like to use.

I'll try to get this done late tonight.

Here is another problem I've found and I don't know if it is with the editor or not.

Several times I've posted a reply in the Quick Reply field. After typing it up I hit submit and am taken to the end of the thread and my post has disappeared. I think what is happening is that if I post almost simultaneously with another post then someone's post goes away.

I've lost several posts this way. Yesterday's lost post was a list of wines from a tasting that took me a few minutes to compile so it was really irritating.

Having tried all three, I think the underlying problem is not so much the editor as the board framework.
The editors are just highlighting flaws such as the slow refresh issue.
If I hit the reaload button it takes about 5 seconds according to FasterFox, and that's the same
on my work desktop on the corporate intranet or on my home box over DSL.
You really need to figure out what changed there and why.
