Format of "reply" posts question. If I use the "quick reply" the format will have breaks (BR) automatically. One can't use emoticons there though. If I use either of the "reply" buttons then the post wont have any breaks. It all comes out (Including blank lines between paragraphs) as one continues line. This is the first new post I have made since the switch and I'll bet a nickle that we when I press the "submit" button it will all come out as one continuis line of type.

Yep, it is just one continuius line.

This post is being made in the "quick reply" and should come out just fine.

I guess I could just put an emoticon between each paragraph. That seems to leave some space.

Can't you force some CRLF codes somehow

This was done with reply not quick reply.

You can always check the HTML format after you do your typing.  Look for the html "br" tag
when you expect a new line to appear.

( I can't type the real format here, as it won't appear in the post. )

What? That's a technical question. What's a browser? Is that anything like a peeping tom?

lol.

FYI - hitting the "reply" link in the last post of a thread, you have plenty of rich text options, and yes, can make links, but can't currently inbed a picture.... (have to link to it).

Working on a REAL gallery... that each individual can maintain... but not there yet.

The only options I get when hitting the reply link (upper right corner of the last post's box) are emoticons.

The only place I get a choice of enriched text that I can find is in the "quick reply" box and then it is only B ,I and U.

I don't see what the "Quote" buttun does.

On this computer (at work) I use Safari. BTW it is a Mac.

Ahhh.. Safari... The next version coming out next week has a new editor I'm going to implement that supports Mac users much better I believe. My stats say 8% of people use a Mac that visit Vinocellar... high enough to warrant some support I think.
