| I hear you... and am definitely working on it. I have a dialogue going with the developer and he understands the issues. In the mean time... See if using "My Forums" and "Active Topics" helps. When you click in "Active Topics" on the right side near the top of the forums is a drop down box in which you can choose the time frame in which you want "Active Topics" to search. | | If you drink wine, you get smarter.... | |

| | With enough experience, I now see that this is tied to logging in again. When I do, it forgets where I was. Sigh. | | | |

| This seems to be working pretty consistently for me. As long as I am Logged In. | | The difference between genius and stupidity is that genius has it's limits... ps - friends don't let friends eat farmed salmon. | |

| Yea, once you get logged out, all tracking of read/unread goes to pot..... sometimes it's hard to notice when you get logged out however...
More udpates coming.... just did an upgrade test of the new "core" version... went very well. The new editor is fantastic... but actually has too many features.... too complicated in my opinion... so I'm going to trim it down before migrating this live production site. | | If you drink wine, you get smarter....

| I'm still having big-time problems with this. It seems like it is about 50/50.
Today I made and post and continued on. Later in the same session I saw that someone else had just posted after me. I click on the thread and it goes to page 1 post 1. It is a five-page post.
Other times???? This is becoming a real challange. We gotta get it fixed right and fixed pronto.

| | I have the same problem, David. Sometimes it works... more often than not, I get sent to the first post of the topic. | | | |

| I'm still having a problem with this. It is not as frequent as before; now around one in 20 but... when it is a thread that I had posted on the previous day it really pisses me off. It also seems like it happens more often of posts that are pages long. And their the toughest to figure out/remember when the last time I read it was.

| | Same problem here, David. It's very frustrating, as you said, on multiple page topics where you almost always (at least for me) get placed at the first post on page 1!!! | | | |

| | I changed the setting in my profile to sort by "newest first".  It took a little getting used to, but it certainly ends the jump to newest unread post problem. | | | |

| | This is actually different to the faulty "jump to first unread post" thing. If you want to give it a whirl, go to edit your profile and look for "Sort". It is above the jump to first unread post box. Chose "Sort Newest First" from the drop down menu. | | | |
