If I go to the home page it say's I'm logged in.

There are currently two separate logons to the site... one for the main page and one for the forums. That's the main reason I'm looking to move to new forum software... if you are logged into the main page, you'll also be logged into the forums. Just click the "New User" link above and register for the forums and you'll be all set. If you use a Personal Firewall and have problems posting, just add www.vinocellar.com to the "trusted sites" list in your software.

For everyone else in the last year, that's the only tip they've needed. If they need further info, they can look in the first three pinned posts in this forum area.

like i said that didn't work for me a couple years ago. then again at home i was running windows ME at the time. whcih as everyone knows isn't very stable. i added vc to my list and i didn't make a difference. like i said that was 2 years or so ago. when i installed norton on my laptop, which is running xp, i didn't have to do anything.
