| Well, my UPS is gone, one power strip is gone, and one server is gone.... out of all my servers, only the Vinocellar server died!!! Hard drive is toast.
Oh, but boy do I have great backups!!!!
Should be fully restored with absolutely NO LOSS OF DATA... up to the minute actually, since the Forums database was on a different server. The w3t_User table had some corruption however, so instead of restoring from last nights backup, I just fixed the corruption.
IF YOU GET ANY SQL ERRORS, OR ANY OTHER STRANGE BEHAVIOR, PLEASE CONTACT ME IMMEDIATELY VIA PRIVATE MSG OR THE "CONTACT US" LINK BELOW!!!
May have lost a user from the DB... not sure yet. :-) Fun stuff... *cough*
Also, that last auction was extended a day.
Sorry everyone for the problem.... huge power surges suck. A couple streets were without power for awhile because of it. Anyhow, considering the issue, the restore went fairly quickly and smoothly.

| The main index page is a like peach color but once you drill down into a section it returns to the traditional blue color scheme. No biggie.
When I click on a thread it does take me to the last post correctly but it doesn't highlight it any longer like it used to. Still no biggie.

One thing I did notice....There were some posts lost in the crash. I have a habit of scrolling through the user list in # of posts order when I do my stats... So, after this thread, I went to go check and see if there were any obvious places where some posts got 'lost' and there were. I can dig up some more details for you if you'd like. Not a huge number of posts, I am guessing, but some. More details later. | |

Page 4 cutoff was 507 posts. Right now it is 499 posts. Just one example.
