I really like the way the TN's forums are broke out by region, but sometimes wish there was a section I could post notes on <$15 wines seperately. I sometimes hesitate to post on these as they are often times not blockbusters but many are enjoyable and worthwile purchases while others although less expensive still aren't worth it. What would others think of a seperate "Value" wines forum or ones for each major region (NA, Aust/NZ, France, Italy, etc)?

At this time, we won't be adding any new forums. Please don't hesitate to post on $15 wines. We NEED to hear about those good values as they are exactly what everyone is looking for in these economic times. Just post those TN's.

I agree with jb. I usually post on less expensive stuff. I don't have the budget that some of these guys do, but that doesn't stop me from posting or learning or enjoying this stuff.

Maybe with the release of VC 2.0 or later, we'll be able to create auto-links where given TNs auto-generate duplicate posts in a QPR arena. Or perhaps this will all be stored in the wine database that they have been talking about.

We'll see!

Not really needed for 2 reasons:

1.
You can always check the "everyday" wine thread. And, add to that thread. I often do that. And, ask if people found any new QPRs that they can recommend.

2.
And, in the future, we will have a way to locate (very easily) ANY Wine/TNs you want in any way/category/variety that you can think of. Working on that... And, manipulate these TNs in many, many ways (any way that you want). Very user-friendly & very dynamic (to a person’s preference).

FYI...All the TNs/QPRs are being Imported into a separate DataBase as we speak (on a daily basis) as you guys Post them. Not 1 TN will be lost. Actually, I am saving them to 2 different DataBases (just in-case).

Does take time to program things like that (especially when you have a regular job on top of that). But, as we always say, “…stay tuned…”. What you see, Now, is NOT what you get…

Alternatively, how about a QPR symbol/icon that can be attached to the subject line? That way, the bargain wines in each existing category can be flagged.

Only the person who starts the thread should be the one who may wish to use the symbol, should such symbol ever come into being.

Hey thats a good idea on the symbol. I agree with you guys too I guess we don't need it, just a thought.

Just an observation, but the tread I started recently on how to "move up the ladder" generated some traffic. Most of the comments re-assured me that a large amount of forum members, like myself, are QPR oriented. Perhaps there is more interest in this subject than anticipated?

Just a thought. Nothing more.
