I'd start with the just released 1990 Krug Clos Mesnil which is supposed to be fantastic (someone who tried it said better than the 1988 which is difficult to believe). The 1990 Cristal is also quite good (1990 was a fabulous year in Champagne).

1990 was also a great year for red Burgundy. The La Tache is great if a bit young. I'd probably go with some Leroy Premier Cru which should be drinking quite fine right now.

For whites I'd probably try some Lafon Meursaults (1990 was great just about everywhere but not quite great for white Burgundys).

In California 1990 was the start of an unprecedented 8 year run of very good to great years. Try the Montelena Estate or Montebello.

For the sweeties 1990 was a great year in Sauterne with the Yquem being close to legendary. You should also try the Climens.

I'm sure others can come up with other suggestions. I've left out Red Bordeaux as the only one I tasted was the Latour which was quite good if a bit young. You have picked a great year to have a tasting based on, one of the best ever in the history of wine. Only Port didn't produce very good to great wine.

Sounds like it was a great dinner. We just had a '90themed dinner here in DC where we had:

1990 Taitinger Comtes de Champagne Millesimes x2
1990 Bollinger R.D.
1990 Cos D'Estournel
1990 Cheval Blanc
1990 Rieusec

It was fantastic. You might also want to try a '90 Montrose or Pichon Baron - I've read a lot of good reviews about them right now.
