| | Being able now to look at it in retrospect a bit more objectively, my wife and I both feel that this was a fantastic weekend, in every possible way: great people, great wine, great conversations, great food, great memories. Wish we all could have occasions like that a few times a year; they're everything that's good about wine and wine lovers. | | | |

| | You said it Seaquam. I only wish I had had a chance to talk with you a bit more (and a few others), it was a busy, busy event and wonderful in every respect. | | | |

| Funny this should come up...I have to tell you this...This past Sunday was "St. Nick's Celebration" at many Woodinville wineries. Last stop was DeLille (saved the best for last). Tasted the '00 lineup. Killer as usual.
I sat out on the chateau patio, alone, with a glass of the '00 Chaleur, watching the dense fog linger over the valley below. It was beautiful. I was reminiscing about the Soiree and laughed out loud when I realized I had not sat down once that whole day/night. What a wonderful time. Looked up and, alas, no balloons (it was FREEZING!). The folks inside were still talking about what a great time they all had.
The "Night at the Met" was my turn to relax and that was a real highlight, being in my favorite room, in my favorite restaurant in Seattle, with extraordinary new and old friends.
Thanks again, to all, for making it so memorable.

| Queen, I can "feel" what you are talking about.
I had an absolutely wondeful time and will be back for a visit hopefully sooner rather than later. | | If you drink wine, you get smarter.... | |
