Cafe Atlantico, due to popular demand. Not the minibar, but still pretty good food IMO, and I've got the hookups to the restaurant. Probably the first week of December. Who's interested?

JT...

What happened to November? I have meetings in Dallas and Philly from Dec 06-09 so unless it's the next week, I'm out again.....

T-Rep, we just thought that we'd be better off planning ahead for December because November comes and goes so quickly - you know how the calendar fills up very fast.

Does December 5th work (see T-Rep's post)? The first full week in December is the 5th-9th.

T-Rep, I'd love to make this dinner work for you - nothing like sending a Cru member away on a trip, well fed and drunk!

December 5th (Monday) - who's in?

As always, I'll talk to management and talk about corkage etc.

Cafe Atlantico

Any suggestions on themes?

Jaimetown...

You da man!!! Thanks for changing the date. As for a theme, since the restaurant seems to have a "Mediterranean-ish" menu, why not do a Spanish wine theme? Maybe a more specific Spanish wine theme, but how about only Spanish wines?

If the 5th is a sure thing, then I may be able to make it. I may be in town for the first week for work in Dec.

LOL Dave

I don't think you HAVE to bring a Spanish wine. Let's just say maybe bring something extra special for the holidays - even more so since Doc may be joining us.

If I haven't lost priveleges for missing the last OL, I'd be grateful for an opportunity to attend.

Ok, December 5th it is:

Jaimetown
T-Rep
Dinwiddie
PurpleHaze
Dave
AlexRed (2)

Maybes:
JohnnyB
Doc
Corkage

I'm thinking about reserving a table for 10-12 on the third level of the restaurant. I'll buy a bottle or two off the list (killer Malbecs anyone?). If you guys bring your best, I may even bring a bottle of vintage Billecart Salmon bubbly.
