GFD has recommended a very good place if steak is ok.

Grill On the Alley




We've also got a very good Michael Mina restaurant. Corkage is only $20 iirc.

The Grill looks outstanding, as I am a full fledged carnivore. As for the prospect of a SQN, wow! Got lots of postcards, but never tried a bottle. Now I've just got to think of what to bring from my basement. I am sure everyone there has what I have or better.....

I am in! I'd missed this thread. Work getting in the way of my life again...

Steak is ALWAYS good. I think Forbes Mill is slightly better, but this will be a good chance for Grill to set the record straight

What kind of swill should I bring?

It did. That flight turned out a little weird (the Yattarna was dead, the Schwarz was on its last legs, and the Kracher was a late harvest wine) and that fouled the results imo.

No it didn't win (we're talking the 2002 Kongsgaard here)... the 2003 Testarossa Rosella's won (at least it was showing better than the Kongsgaard that day).

The best Best BEST woth was difinitley the 2000 Kracher #7 that I entered. I have no idea why it didn't win. Just because it was a little sweet?

Randy, you bring the K'gaard and I'll see if I can dig up a bottle of the T'rossa.
