| Next time, instead of using the "red eye" feature, please use the "anti aging" feature which knocks off 20 years and 20 pounds When I see my photo, I think I need a diet or liposuction! | | TN posted on Cellartracker "I drink no more than a sponge." François Rabelais www.tanglenet.com | |

| I've finished my notes from the event. Here is the link to Cellartracker. If you see anything that needs correcting, please let me know.

| | Thanks. I think you have better notes that I for the KB tasting. I got the barrels right, but not the clones. I've been reading your notes as you've posted. Terrific stuff. It's fun to see where we agree and differ. | | TN posted on Cellartracker "I drink no more than a sponge." François Rabelais www.tanglenet.com | |

| Thanks again to you all, and to Chris for organizing, and Ken and Akiko for hosting. I have never enjoyed a wine weekend so fully, or spent it with such engaging company. You all are a class A act.
Note to vintners: Don't be strangers on VinoCellar.
Mr. Bressler and Mr. Kurtzman: I've enjoyed your wines for years. A pleasure to meet you both and best wishes for continued success.
Congrats to all the producers of the wines...I honestly did not find one that I would not purchase for the cellar. And yes, like Jason noted, that includes the Bollinger.
Until the next offline...

| well, we just need to be careful that the next event is carefully aligned with the moon and the stars...
Honestly, everything was great, but if that one visit had gone any longer, I don't think I would have been able to control my urge to blurt out, "Do you actually believe all this cr^p????"

Honestly, everything was great, but if that one visit had gone any longer, I don't think I would have been able to control my urge to blurt out, "Do you actually believe all this cr^p????" I was whispering color commentary to my wife about the biodynamic discussion I read on ebob during the visit. She especially liked the part about burying the cow horns in the soil during the full moon.
What was DavidN's question? Something about sacrificing virgins in the vineyards? It was pretty funny whatever he said. | | TN posted on Cellartracker "I drink no more than a sponge." François Rabelais www.tanglenet.com

| As long as the wine is good, I don't care what the growers believe in or what science/religion they practice. I'll say this though, I had no idea the depth of their biodynamic beliefs when setting up the visit. I'm as much a cynic as anybody else....but I will say I like the "order" their practice provides. That was one clean vineyard!
For me it was like Mormons. Crazy freaking religion/cult, but they sure turn out some good citizens!
Disclaimer: I'm an athiest, and I think ALL religions are quite silly.

| I agree. If the wine is good, I don't care if they pray over it or swear at it...

As someone who has both grown grapes and made wine, I can assure you that you do a lot of both!
