(wouldn't be disappointed with any of the choices, however...all sound tasty to me!)

| I'm going to go with everybodies first choices, and see what rises to the top. Please make one selection per course, and for the entree I'll pick the top two. Chris

Erg, the dreaded "post at the same time" bug and subsequent post deletion. EDITED TO ADD BOTH OUR CHOICES:
For Mr. Winetex:
Appetizer: Wild Mushroom Raviolis
First course: Zinfandel Poached Pear Salad
Soup: Cream of Curried Butternut Squash Soup
Main: Grilled “Star Ranch” Filet of Beef Dessert: German Chocolate Meltdown
For me:
Appetizer: Calamari Fritti First course: Zinfandel Poached Pear Salad
Soup: Cream of Curried Butternut Squash Soup
Main: Rigatoni Pasta with Duck Sausage Dessert: White Chocolate Pumpkin Cheesecake This menu looks yummy.

| I'm going to set the menu tomorrow (Monday) afternoon, so you have until noon tomorrow to make a choice before I go with the current favorites. Chris

| I'm assuming the menu will be set sometime today, so I'm interested in people's thoughts about wines ...
I'm struggling a bit as I'll be flying in Friday morning, so I'll have to bring something that has a chance at showing well after the flight and drive. Definately something on the youngish side ... I also have to remember something for the "warm up" before the dinner ...

| Hi David, I'll incorporate your choices. The menu will be set tomorrow...the person at John Ash was off work today. Unless somebody posts between now and tomorrow morning, you can plan on the top vote recipients to be the menu. Looks like the Pork Chop won 2nd prize. Gotta figure out what to do with our one vegetarian. Hopefully they'll allow one substitution.

| I was thinking Cab as well ... don't want to OD on Pinot Noir ... although I'm sure we will on Saturday, anyway. I'll probably bring a Chardonnay, too.
If I remember correctly, we're paying for a minumum of 30 bottles corkage. I'm not sure what the final head count is, but it looks like 17 people voted for their selections.
