Eric, I spoke with Willi's Wine Bar last week and the manager said he overdid it on the menu. We have removed a few items, so the cost should be a bit lower.

I hope to have finalized prices on everything by Thursday afternoon so everybody will know what this is going to cost them.

Also, for Sunday I am working on getting a tasting at Ketcham as an alternative to hitting downtown Healdsburg. They are close enough to Healdsburg that we could make it optional if some wish to hit downtown. Thanks for the compilation though Eric!

We are thinking of swinging through Premier Cru on Friday if the timing works. I hear bubbles screaming to be liberated.

I'm going to miss our Champagne tasting in Santa Barbara Winetex

No one will complain if there is good Champagne at the party. I plan on bringing some.

NCVL - I will miss that at SB too. That was such a great time all the way around.

Ketcham would be great. I talked to Steve a month ago so he already knows we might be calling him.

I've still got Moshin on the back burner.

And I haven't heard for sure but I think we will have our way with Papapietro-Perry.

Nice work David. Steve doesn't have a place for us to taste, so I have invited him to join us at the Saturday dinner. If he can't make it he indicated he wanted to give us some wine to share over dinner so we could get a chance to try it.

So David, if you want to try for Moshin instead of Healdsburg I'm fine with it....how far is it from town though? Is it possible to do an "optional" deal with them? I don't mind missing Healdsburg this trip but others might want to stop there.

Steve Rigisich from Ketcham has been invited....waiting to hear back from him. Go easy on bringing wine for this dinner....there will be a lot on hand already. However, this is the only dinner for many of you....so if you want to bring something special nobody is going to stop you!

I would bring an old label NV Krug to dinner, but I don't know how to keep it cold.

I MUST drink some Champagne with Winetex at some point on Saturday, though!

Come on - we will have to have a cheap cooler with ice for the champagne.

Does anyone feel like drinking some Pegau? I'm in the agony of indecision about what wines to bring.

Ok... So I'll bring a bottle or two of Champagne either for the bus or for dinner on Saturday. Old Label Krug Grand Cuvee will be one of the bottles, but I've only got one of them, so I can't bring two or three.

Ooooo... I just got an idea, but I'll have to see if I can do it (:sneaky greamlin:)

Do any of the men feel compelled to wear a jacket to any of these evenings? Assuming Sat is more casual but John Ash looks a little more formal.
