| Perhaps we can do Zin tasting from a few areas of CA: Dry Creek Valley, Napa, Sierra Foothills, Paso Robles, etc. We can also throw in some old vines and maybe even a couple late harvests. For any of you who haven't gotten into Zins as of yet this could be a great opportunity to do a little Zin tour. | | | |

| perfect gfleener we've invited over a few other folks so hopefully we'll get at least a few of us. I'll PM you tonight with the details. I have a great late harvest Zinfandel from Van Der Heyden Vinyards that I've been looking for a good reason to open. I also have a couple of old vine Zins, at least 100 year old vines, from Amador that I've been wanting to taste side by side. Okay Davidn bummer, but you gotta do what you gotta do there may be a couple of radio folks showing up as well. I also invited Gary P. and Mark P. and expect an answer from them soon. | | | |

| Holy Smoke! If the two Ps are coming I'll be there with a couple of other folks around 10.
Gary P may be passed out by then but Mark P will still be going strong assuming you don't have any young, single, good looking gals there other than Madame NCVL.

| NCVL... Next time you're trolling thru Sonoma, try Wilson on Dry Creek Road (just South of Unti, I think). They produce some excellent Dry Creek zins. | | | |

| Yup Budman, I tried them on my last DCV tour due to recommendations from a few folks from the area. It was our last stop of the day, the place was crowded and there was some sort of commotion going on for some reason or another. There was nothing very special about the wines that we tried so we left with no purchase, generally if we like a winery, or wine, we'll purchase at least one bottle so as to remember them when we get home. I was dissapointed since I had heard such good things about them all day. We'll try them again on our next DCV tour. | | | |
