| Oh my broken heart: It's Pinot Noir time!
It is time for another Dallas offline and our varietal of choice this time isPinot Noir . Yes, it is that most noble of grapes that makes you wax poetic one moment and curse the ground it was planted in the next. So let's get together and prove how well this wine really sings!
Our offline will be atIl Sole on January 16th starting at 7PM . We will be in the private Wine Room. We will work out more details later after we get a better feel for how many people will be attending but for the moment I would anticipate everybody will order from the menu and bring two bottles of the same wine due to the anticipated large crowd. But first things first, who's in?

| WDOT has officially tossed his hat in the ring. This will probably be the final tally unless DMF, vintage, ChrisC or an out of town guest sign on.

| Math is lookin' poorly here friends. 15-16 guzzlers. 9 bottles to guzzle. Now, if the math was reversed, then we'd be talkin' ! | | | |

| My sister had the 99 Rochioli Estate PN last weekend, and she said that it took ~45 min to open up. So you might double decant those a bit before you plan on drinking them.
Have fun drinking all that great wine! | | | Ladd Cellars | |

| No way Eric. Double decanting is a foreign concept to WDOT. Once the cork comes out of the bottle its all over except the washing of the glasses. | | | Joe-----Wine is like potato chips around me...if it's open, it's gone. | |

| Yes, for the DAWGs (Dallas Area Wine Geeks) wine drinking is a contact sport. | | | |

| Yes, that is better. Sort of. They are both appropriate depending upon which member of which you speak. | | | |
