Is anybody going back to NJ after the dinner? What are peoples plans. I will be flying solo if I go and I don't really want to stay in a room alone. I am also not familiar with NYC and it can be a bit intimidating to drive their after dark (Don't want to end up like Clark Griswald did asking for directions in the truckster ).

We are heading home to NJ. Not sure if we are going on our own or together with my brother. I will let you know.

Let's see who else is heading back to NJ.

P.S.: We may stay for the After-Dinner thing, are you?

TCK,

Read "Bonfire of the Equities" and you'll never want to drive in NYC after dark for sure.

Davidn - do you mean "Bonfire of the Vanities"? Your title was actually pretty funny. Great book.

Well it has been quite a few years since I last read it. And I like my title better too. They made a terrible TV movie of it.

We're staying in town of course.

Re: Bonfire of the Vanities, wasn't it Tom Hanks who played the role? Or was it someone else?

Tom Hanks and Melanie Griffith - a travesty of a movie.

Read the book. It's great IMO. Not the movie. Completely different ending.
