Saturday, September 20, 2003---Our 34th Anniversary
Fly back to San Jose.

Electrolux/Frigidaire wants Tricia and I to go to New York next week. I think they think my company has been a Frigidaire dealer longer than anyone else in the US. We can prove back to 1949. There may be a $10,000 award but I won't mention that. It might jinx it.

Would anyone like to do something Friday night?

davidn...

An Electrolux party??? That really sucks!

Seriously, sounds like a blast. Hope the NY contingent can accommodate your schedule.

Yex, It sucks and you freeze your ass off at the same time. This is the major appliance division (like refrigerators and washers).

Wow, what a coincidence. Teri and I will be in NYC that day also. However, it was her B'day present this year, so it's her schedule - can't do any big wine things this trip. Y'all have a great time!

Jazzin and Revlis,

I would love to get together. Friday night will be our only night that we aren't commited to Frigidaire.

Wednesday night is a boat ride/dinner (anyone have a comment on Board Romantica Dinner Cruise?).

Thursday it is a banquet dinner at The Plaza. I don't know if this will be good or just rubber chicken. How is The Plaza for food anyway?

Tricia and I would like to go somewhere "special". I'm not sure what I mean by that. We havn'e been to NYC for five or six years and we only have the one night. If you all can join us where would you go?

I could drop a line to Frued. He might be able to get a no corkage reservation at Triomphe. The food is very good and with no corkage, the wines can be special as well. The wine list there is actually very well done also. Just a thought.

Do you all believe that this "little" wind-storm will put a dent in our plans? I have no idea what it is like. Do places close down? Do cabs stop running? Or is it just super-miserable out there?

We are scheduled to leave out ot Kennedy Saturday. Do I need to worry about that happening?

At any rate I would love to get together with as many or as few that think they can make it. But I have to call on you to make the decision/reservations. We will be leaving home tomorrow (Tuesday) about 1:00 pm and will not have a computer after that (unless I can get some sort of access at the hotel). If you want to get ahold of me don't hesitate to call the Plaza Hotel.

The name is NIEDERAUER, David and Tricia.

Pronounced Knee-Durr-Hour.

Davidn,

I know that you may not be able to read this due to a lack of email access, but Mrs. Doc and I might be able to meet for an earlier b-day drink on the 19th.

My b-day is on Saturday the 20th. I may try calling you at the Plaza.

Take care,
Doc

Here we are direct from the Plaza Hotel.

We are now all booked for Friday so I guess any type of "offline" will have to wait.

Happy Birthday Doc. The 20th is also our 34th anniversary.
