Here is where you will find details for THE offline of the year. To celebrate the 1 yr anniversary (ok so it’s 11 months) of VC, we will be throwing a huge party in NYC and all are welcome. We have reserved a private dining room on the 3rd floor above Amuse restaurant that will include Champagne and Hors D’Ouervres, a 4 course tasting menu and lots of WINE! The price for the evening will be $148 pp which includes all food, tax, gratuity, and corkage. Because of the size of the room, we will be limiting the # of attendees to 50. Once those attending have confirmed, we will go thru the painstaking, but rewarding process of pairing wines with the foods served. The current summer menu will shift to a fall menu soon, but here are the probable dishes, although preparations may change:

HORS D'OEUVRES
Tartlet of Seared Foie Gras with Sweet and Sour Shallots
Griddled White Cheddar and Smoked Bacon with Tomato Chutney
Wild Mushroom and Fennel in Phyllo
Fennel Crusted Tuna with Green Olive Tapenade and Fingerling Potato
Ceviche of Sea Bass with Yellow Tomato, Cilantro and Lime
Crostini of Peppered Beef with Red Onion Marmalade

Crisp Cod and Yukon Gold Potato Cake
celery root slaw and truffle tartar sauce

Pan Roasted Halibut and Asparagus Risotto
caramelized mushroom jus

Peppered Long Island Duck Breast
endive marmalade and black mission fig reduction

Steamed Bittersweet Chocolate Cake
hazelnut ice cream and chocolate tuile

Oh, I almost forgot the Sat. morning VC Dump Bucket Cup Invitational Golf Tournament before the nights festivities. Course and times TBD, but we will try to arrange transportation to and from NYC for a day on the links.
