Last night I went to a Spanish wine tasting held by Spec's here in Houston. Spec's has a large Spanish wine selection and many of them are good quality wines at reasonable prices.

Alas there was no Numanthia or Termes. Maybe it's because I bought it all?

In all a good variety.

Winetex, what was your wine of the night?

It's tough because the grenach wines are so different from the tempranillo wines.

I would say the 1998 Bodegas Fernando Remirez de Ganuza Rioja Reserva was my WOTN. The Morlanda is a close second and a personal favorite.
