oops ... just found a website for LoS and it says they're closed for renovations next Mon-Wed. I'll call them and confirm those dates, and make a reservation for Thursday.

Scott, I realized we are leaving on Thursday the 17th. We'll have to try for LoS on Sunday. Think of another place you might like to go Tues or Wed. I'm trying to coordinate with the extended family so things are never easy.

I'm open to your suggestions for Tues or Wed, as I'm not a Vegas vet - only been there once in the last 10 years. I'm up for most anything, although I would prefer to not to drop too many $$$ - still paying off last month's Paris trip !

I do note the MGM restaurants have a "summer menu" - a chance to try Craftsteak or L'Atelier at "cheap" prices ... Are you bringing wine with you ? I think most Vegas restaurants allow corkage at not too unreasonable prices. The trick is often avoiding something on their winelists ...
