Honestly, I got out of the habit of checking the Wine Events section, as it seems to be dominated by the Anniversary Blow-out (which now seems ensconced on the West Coast, during a school vacation, which eliminates me every year) and the Annual Cult Cab Event. Not that there is anything wrong with either event. But "regular" off-line opportunities just don't seem to get posted here any more. On the brightr side, I think we have all become close enough friends that we simply e-mail or PM one another when we are going to be in someone's neck of the woods.
Haven't been able to put together a business reason to be in NYC on the 24th, and a quick down-and-back is just too far for me to do on a mid-week night. Bummed, because I have been in NYC so much lately, I would have loved to come down again and join you. | | | Beta testing a new signature. | |

a. I may be in FL (Miami-area that weekend) for a business trip
b. That weekend is also my brother's BDay
