| Should we try Dino's on the 18th (thursday)? it should be loud enough that we can bring the baby. Accessible by metro, etc. nobody works on Fridays anyway...
Trep is out most of Oct so he can't do it.
Dave? Dinwiddie? TJ? Jaimetown? Jace? Winoman? Corkage? Johnny? anyone else?
Anyone know of any other loud restaurants that might work? | | | |

| | I'd be up for it - any ideas on themes? Dino has free corkage on Thursdays. | | | |

| I don't know what I'll be doing. My wife fell on the stairs at work yesterday and broke her ankle. Surgery will be sometime next week but we don't know when. In any case, I'm probably not going to get away with going out with the folks and drinking wine while she is at home unable to get around. But we will see. Her mother might be here and I might want to get out of the house.Â

| Din, sorry to hear about your wife's broken ankle. that can be tough. my mom had a compound fracture a year or so ago. Julie and I wish her a speedy recovery. hope you don't have any stairs in your house.
James, i guess we will have to figure something else out.

| Thanks for the thoughts Alex. Unfortunately there are stairs, getting her down them is not bad, but getting up is almost impossible. We are going to have to arrange for transportation to get her home tomorrow after the surgery.
Hard to believe but the insurance company insists that this is outpatient surgery and we have to go to Columbia to have it done when there is a hospital just 5 miles away in Olney. Oh well, you do what you have to do.
