| So given the fact that we're pretty evenly split between those who like midweek dinners and those who like weekend dinners and my crazy travel schedule bveing what it is, how do we make this work? Alternate the night of the week we meet each month? Try to bge flexible with our schedules? Or just accept the fact that if we want to keep this gig going, we'll more than likely end up having smaller get togethes....I'm perplexed. Help!
Just my two cents...

| Posted By Dave on 10/09/2007 9:37 PM I propose a short hiatus until Alex's SQNs get delivered. Then, let's meet weekly. Uh. Daily.
BTW, I can do mid-week, too, with enough notice. Remember, I am the slug who works way up in oinks mills.

| Seriously. i know a big part of the dinners is the food at nice restaurants and i love that, but if the fall and winter turns out to be as warm as they are saying we can do things here and i can get better at cooking (and sourcing) food for medium-sized groups...
my SQN won't last very long at that rate... heheh.
Too bad we don't have a Taylor's Refresher around here or anything. i guess we could get Five Guys and pretend? | | | |

| One of the problems, obviously, is that DC is the only place where restaurants are allowed to permit corkage. In addition, it allows those of us in MD (me) and those in VA (lots of you other folks) to get together somewhere in the middle. I don't mind driving to VA for a dinner, it is the driving back that I have problems with.

| | I be halfway between, if that helped (or DW, we could hijack a IAD van). | | | |

For those of you in MD, the WS MD crew is getting together at Cafe du Paris on the 19th. They are probably full, but they are a great bunch, some of whom have partied with the Crü.
