| I work in New Orleans quite often and with many of the top restaurants back at full steam, I thought it would be a great time for another Vinocellar weekend there. For the people that haven't been to Restaurant August, it is a MUST. If there is interest, I'll put something together. Maybe sometime in August? | | |

| Especially if you consider swimming as in "the humidity is so high your shirt is so drench you feel like you're swimming down the street". | | | Joe-----Wine is like potato chips around me...if it's open, it's gone. | |

| I have to add, because I would really like to come down, support the Industry, peruse Martin's, and raise a glass at several favorite restaurants, August is NOT the month to do it. Of course, being from Mobile, "....., with an annual rainfall which averages 66 inches, or 5 feet, which gives the Port City the rank of number one (wettest city in t he USA).", I see your point. But, why don't you try to set something up in October. What restaurants would be ameanble to a reasonable corkage deal? | | | |

| We'll be in New Orleans the 17th-20th of October, unless I've got grapes to pick, but I'm betting I can work around it. I think we're mostly booked though. 17th is anniversary (We got married in Jackson Square), 18th we're attending a wedding and 19th is my birthday. | | Paul Romero - Owner/Winemaker Stefania Wine www.stefaniawine.com | |

| Maybe we can make something work in October. August has $0 corkage as well as Lillette and many of the Brennan's restaurants. | | | |

| Wouldn't you know it-- I'll be in NO August 6-12 and before I can turn around the date has moved to October. I'm working some that week but will have a few evenings open. If this was the DC cru it would take 50 posts just to decide on the month - nothing about the restaurant , wines, times, dates etc.-- so maybe there is hope.. Norm | | | |

| I'm a little late to the game but I just noticed this post. Work and problems with the board have kept me away recently.... Anyway, I'm up for an offline here just about any time - just let me know when and where. I"ll also help set up reservations if needed. Unfortunately though, August 10th through the 19th won't work for me as I'll be out in CA visiting in-laws. | | | |

| Well-- I've checked the conference schedule and the evenings of August 7 and 10 are open-- all other nights we are partying on our own at the WWII museum, LA Supreme Court , Mardi Gras World etc. so if we can get a group together on either night I would love it..Thanks-- Norm | | | |

| We're now going to CA earlier and I'll be back in town on 8/2 so things look better. I just need to make sure a couple of closings don't get in the way. Give me 2-3 more weeks and I'll be able to confirm I'm free. | | | |
