| Just in case there are any lurkers or out of town travelers out there...
Our May wine dinner will be Wednesday, May 16th at 7PM at Mirabelle in North Dallas.
Joseph Maher has graciously agreed to close his restaurant Mirabelle just for our group. In doing so we’ll need to commit to him by May 2nd for a minimum of 12, confirmed attendees at $100.00 per person ($75.00 food plus tax and tip). Please bear this in mind when signing up for this event because if you commit to this dinner and you cancel after May 2nd you’re still responsible for your financial commitment unless we can resell your seat.
Joseph will be planning a special 4 course prix fixe menu specifically to match the wines we’ll taste that evening. Our wine theme for this evening will be “Old World Wines $50.00 and up” but I’m sure we’ll all agree that with food of this caliber and a setting this nice we’ll all want to pull out some of our best wines to share with others! We’ll be breaking up into tables of four people for this dinner. Each person at the table will be responsible for bringing one wine to match the food provided in a specific course. Each table will bring one vintage Champagne, White, Red and Sweet wine. So please, when you sign up for this dinner, be sure and indicate how many people are in your party and which flights you can provide (i.e. champagne only, red & white only, I can supply all) for your table. The more people we have that can provide multiple flights the easier it’ll be for me to pair people up into tables of four. You are as always encouraged to share your extra wine with the table to your right, then the table to your left. ;)
Operationally we’ll start with twelve spots available on a first come, first served basis. As others sign up and we can fill additional tables of four we’ll open up those tables one at time. Groups less than four will be placed on the wait list until a full table of four can be filled.
So, who’s in? Thanks!
