I REALLY want to play a round this weekend (don't care if it's in the rain either).

Anyone up for it? Then perhaps grab a good dinner? I think JB was mentioning it... but perhaps not for this weekend?

I don't have my new sticks yet, but was hitting my old POS clubs fairly well tonight.

No worries if no one is avail... just throwing this out there.

LIke hell you are! You are both helping me move on the 1st. But...you will both be rewarded with some good food and vino. Now, golf on the 31st is a definite possibility! I gotta gig on Fri night, but Sat is fine for some golf. Actually, Rev, if you wanna come down this way, we can do golf, dinner, crapload of wine, move some boxes the next day, dinner and more wine. Who's in?

Pray for no more frickin' rain! This weather in 2003 has been unbelievable (as in sucky!)

Just so you all know; it was just over 100 here today here (the temperature, not the score).

I promise to play golf with you next week and to feed you on Sun. BTW, I'm all over that outing at Wyncote. I got it penciled in.

Golf on Sat and dinner at No. 9 in Lambertville! Who's in?

next weekend's weather is looking good

plus, a quick glance @ ebay finds:

Ebay tee time

(tada) Pine Barrens Golf course foursome @ 9:05am for the low low opening bid of $149 for green fees and carts

that's about 1/2 way between NY and philly!

That's actually a pretty good deal, Raw. Pine Barrens is an excellent track and is usually $100 a round. I got 3 gigs next weekend so Sun may be tough for me. Let me think about it tonight.

Anyway, who wants to play Sat? I'm up for it.

my concern is it is supposed to thunderstorm starting early afternoon! I know revlis doesn't mind a little lightning.. but for we "wussy-boys" ...

regarding e-bay.. it's not just them but I've learned the hard way about paying rack rates when playing courses. When I was out in Phoenix, I paid the rack rate @ the biltmore adobe course which ended up being $128 (round + 1 sleeve of balls)

I wanted to go again, searched around and ended up playing a course in scottsdale for $35 and it was at the mariott camelback, not a shabby course in its own right. Even the signature courses were 30% off.

Of course, NJ doesn't have quite the over building and lax demand lately...

Rawreds

That's a real good deal for Pine Barrens!! Love the teaching pro there too. Great lessons.

If you guys play on Saturday I am gonna be pissed!!

If you do go to No. 9, Philly isn't far away for after dinner drinks.

I decided to bid on it. Unfortuntately someone else already bid on it so we got a little into it!! I'm currently the high bidder for the tee time @ 202.50 I've set my high point at $220 (by my calculations that's $55 a person), after that it can wait and I'll bid another day.

Hey guys- if you are planning to go to NO. 9 this wknd, it is sometimes hard to get reservations... so alternative would be Lillys on the Canal- a new BYO that we like a lot also. Fun atmosphere... great food, & even better prices. (Opposite side off the Main St in Lambertville)
When we are back, Mr. Jazin will have to coord. a golf day at his club!

I know it's evil but sometimes it's fun to just drive up the price

I'm not going to play this weekend since it's going to rain/thunderstorm. I'll just hit a nice cozy range.

I'm up for dinner on Sunday after helpin JB move though. :-) (What wine goes with pepperoni pizza? A ZIN I say!)
