Well, I finally have my travel plans set and hope some fellow Texans can still get together.  Anyone in the DFW area available for dinner on Sunday 4/1?

I'll be staying at the Hyatt Regency Reunion Arena but can move a bit further afield if need be.  I'll take suggestions on locations and do the arranging if you'd like or y'all are certainly free to organize and let me know where to show up.

I'll post this here, on WD, and on WS so hopefully there are no feuds going on.

WIML should be back from his German vacation then and might take you up on that. They have a tasting group there that is usually up for such things.

The current list:

1. Randy Sloan
2. wine+art (both WS & WD)
3. just a skosh / luv vino (two personalities in one)
4. WineO (WS forums)
5. PlanoWino (VC forum)
6. Purple (both WS & WD)
7. WIML?? (both WS & WD)
8.

I'd say that it would be great if we could bump it up to 12 in case we get some more folks or folks besides Purple want to bring their spouses. Wine+Art, do you want me to take over these arrangments or are you okay doing it?

I hope this is BYOB though I could buy a couple of bottles off their list too. I plan on bringing the 04 Butterdragon and 04 Baconbrook.

I can't figure out how to edit a post with this new software.

Anyway, I forgot to mention that this dinner will be a Nick & Sams.

That's funny.  I thought you were WIML.  All kidding aside, I have the same question.  Instead of PlanoWino, I show up as good old Michael O'Brien.  I guess we are not incognito anymore.

By the way, is Nick & Sam's BYOB?  If so, do we just wing it?

Joe and Michael - click on your name in the upper right corner of your screen just under "Search". Update the fields with your user names (delete your real names) and all will be well.

Leave it to me to follow the original instructions, First Name, Last Name, Display Name and expect Display Name to be displayed.  Far to complex for me.  I might just remain who I am.  Until VinoCellar, I hadn't used a "handle" since the old CB days back in...now when was that?  I can't seem to remember anymore.Â

Thanks for the info though.Â
