| Since we didn't get a dinner off the ground for February, what are the chances that we'll pull one off for March? Shall we ressurect Dinwiddie's thoughts about Dino? Any other places that come to mind that we haven't tried or need to go to?
So whaddaya all think?

| I'd like to meet the Cru, pending time & place (Dino's on CT AVE?), now that the crude has melted. | | | |

| I'm game, and in fact eager. However, the weekends of March 3 and 10 are not good since I am driving back and forth to PA to get and take the kid for spring break. However, the rest of the month is fine and with the exceptin of the 7th, probably ok during the week. While I prefer a Friday or Saturday for reasons of recovery, Tuesdays are also pretty good. | | | |

| Mrs. T and I are most available either March 23/24 or March 30/31. Will Dino take a group on a Saturday night?

| I think Dean will take a group on Saturday night if he has enough advance notice. His thing last time was that he already had a group scheduled for the back room. | | | |

| I'm always game for Dino, depending on the date of course. For me, weeknights tend to work better. | | | |

| Can't do the first three weekends in March.... Possible for the last weekend. Am OK with a midweek thing with enough notice. | | | www.roguefood.com -- www.cellartracker.com | |

Nothing, I was making a joke about green wine for St. Paddy's day.

BTW, I ate at Dino last night and Dean said that depending on how many folks there were, Saturday could be an issue, but Sunday is definitely easy to deal with. I told him I'd let you know.

Sorry, I have a clarity problem - I meant what's wrong with BOTH weekends (and it WAS a joke). Seriously, since I'm a newbie, when you are talking about Dinos, is it with corkage (BYO), their list, or (well, it WILL NOT be dry, I assume) other.
As long as the metro is running, work for me.

| When dining at Dino, the corkage is $20 per bottle, with a free corkage for each bottle purchased from his list. His list, in a word, is suberb. Don Rockwell (of donrockwell.com, and a writer for the Washingtonian magazine) says of Dino's list The reserve wine list at Dino is one of the city’s culinary treasures, featuring page after page of affordable Italian gems colorfully described by owner Dean Gold. On Sunday and Monday evenings, Dino offers one-third off all wines priced $50 or more, making an already good deal a can’t-miss bargain. (332 wines, 146 $50 or less; $20 corkage per bottle, no maximum.) So, if we go on a Sunday, we can do both, bring good wine, and buy good wine at great prices. And no, these dinners are never dry. | | | |

interesting!
Sounds like we are honing in on a plan, and thanks for the clarity. Does the Cru have a theme for this evening?

| With that being said (either) Sunday gets my vote (and will open up the weekend of the 24th/25th - where the 24th is out due to prior commitment. | | | |

| Here is an idea. How about a Kosta Browne off-line at Lavadou on Tuesday, March 27th. I will handle the arrangements. No corkage and we can order off of the menu. If you have KB wines, then bring them. If you don't, then this tasting is for you! Come and enjoy the wines. The only caveat is that this is a KB-only tasting. Let's limit this to 10-12 people so that we only need one bottle. In a perfect world we will have at least 4 have-nots attending.
I will bring:
