NAPSTRAVAGANZA 2003

This is now the OFFICIAL name of the November Off-Line event...thanks to Gigond Ass for the name!

Just a reminder to all those that are commited to the event: I need to you to go to theREGISTRATION page and fill out the requested information.

Also, I am now starting to accept payment for the remainder of the event..i.e. tours, tastings, transportation, etc. You can pay me viaPayPal. The main reason I need to start collecting now is that in order to secure the transportation, lunches, tours, etc. these companies are requesting a deposit. Therefore, I need to collect from the attendees. All of the information is on theNapa 2003 page.

If you are attending from the Napa and/or Bay Area, and want to participate, please contact me so we can discuss what you want to do and how much I will need to collect from you.

For those that are in front of the computer on a daily basis, I am inVinoCellar Chat from 9:00am to 4:30pm Pacific Time EVERYDAY to answer questions that you may have regarding the event.

I sent out an email at the beginning of this weekend (bad timing, I know) but if you can please register NO LATER than July 1, that would really help me out.

QUICK UPDATE!!!

So far only 2 people have reserved rooms for this event: WineTex and myself. Please call the Napa Valley Marriott at (707) 253-8600 and reserve your room directly!!! Ask for MISTY and tell her you are with the WS Forum event.

So far only 3 people have paid their final balance due to date (some of you mailed me checks which I have not received as of this post): WineTex, WineIsMyLife and myself.

There are just a little more than 5 months before the event takes place. However, I still need to collect money in order to pay for things that need advance payment. I hate to sound like a broken record, so PLEASE forgive me for being such a pain in the patooti...try and get your payments to me before the end of the month. If you need more time, please communicate with me and let me know. It's that LACK of communication that worries me...

ALSO...for those of you joining us from the surrounding area, I need to know your commitment level ASAP so I know how much to collect from you as well. Please take the time to look over the events and register on the website.

Thanks Joe! I will try and keep this updated with airfare. Where will you likely fly into...Satco, SFO or Oakland?

I'll be flying into OAK or SFO depending on which is the cheapest at the moment. I'll probably fly American since I have an unused voucher that should cover my airfare. Mrs WIML is on her own.

We are about 2 months out from the event and I STILL do not have SOLID numbers on who is attending NOR has everyone paid their balance in full!!!
