It looks like I'll be back in NYC June 14th through the 18th. I'd love to get together with anybody that could spare some time for a glass of wine, bottle, dinner, offline, etc...

Let's plan on the 14th then. Saturday night seems the best for most people because they don't have to work the next day. Once Memorial Day has come, the city empties out on the weekends. Where should we do this? Willow will prepare a meal to match our wines as will Henry's Evergreen. At Henry's there'll be no corkage if we buy one bottle off the wine list. If we have about twenty people, we could probably get Table d'Hote exclusively for our group. I'm certainly open to any other suggestions anybody else has. If we have a small group, I'd be happy to host a dinner at my home. Anything is OK with me. Ideas?

If it makes a difference for your planning, I think Father's Day is the 15th.

No, it's the 15th. I'm very aware of it because my birthday is the following week. In fact, I'll be spending Father's Day at Yankee Stadium with my sons the following day.

I picked the 14th because my son's birthday is the next weekend. Damned if you do, damned if you don't!

Sounds like fun. I will likely be spending Father's Day in Durango, taking my son to see Thomas the Tank Engine.

Saw the Rockies with him last year though.

my oldest son turns 16 on the 23rd. we will have a family get together that weekend and his friends will have a blow out on the 23rd since they will be out of school.

I'm 41 years and 1 day older than him.

14th still works for me. I'll be home for his all important 16th bday on the 23rd. I'll also take off the 13th to spend the day with him before I leave.

Hope the 14th works out for everybody. I'm looking forward to it.
