Damn I wish I could make this one! My favorite offlines had to do with sushi burgundy and champers....not necessarily in that order.

Sure thing, dude, if that's convenient. Still not sure what to bring. Will have to go shopping methinks.

So far we have two champagnes but no red burgs.

Kaz said that he has champagne flutes but no burgundy stems. Does anyone have some that they can bring?

I am jealous, but will have to miss this event. Looks like a great line-up of wines. I am pushing for breaking out the tents and going on a camping trip that weekend which probably means that we'll end up at some resort.

JT...

You got it...things are ready to roll at Kaz's....

We're confirmed at 8 people...only TJ hasn't chimed in yet with what he'll be bringing. All other wines have been confirmed. To recap, here's what we're all bringing...

T-Rep and Mrs. T/2005 Domaine Ecard Savigny Les Beaune Grand Vin and a Larmandier-Bernier NV Premier Cru blanc de blancs
TJ and Mrs. TJ/TBA
Dinwiddie/1997 Gaston Chiquet Champagne Brut or maybe something else
Jaimetown/2002 Bouchard Père et Fils Volnay Caillerets 1er Cru Ancienne Cuvée Carnot and 6 burg stems
Capitolkat/Francois Billion Grand Cru Rose
AlexRed/N.V. Egly-Ouriet Champagne Rosé and at least 3 burg stems

Looks like we have 4 champagnes and two burgs, excluding what TJ brings. We should be in good shape.

Kaz is supposed to let me know the menu tomorrow so I'll post it when I hear from him.

See y'all on Saturday at 6:30PM.

Mrs. TJ and I will indeed still be attending. It's just that I have been out in Vancouver this week (unexpectedly) and I haven't had a minute to really check in here. I have a bottle NV Egly-Ouriet (not a rose) in house and I am going shopping for another bottle here this afternoon. I am worried I won't find anything worthy enough for the Crü, but I'll do my best!

See you all at 630!

Wow, that looks great. Very romantic setting! Worst for me is that I could have gone after all (no trip). I'll look forward to the notes.
