Ditto Board-O's comment.

My brother took the tour last week.
NOTHING impresses him.
This one did!

Davidn, regarding "The David", sadly no, but given the incredible wines we did taste it was hardly missed

Eric - great lineup, wow. Thanks for the notes on Ursa, I ended up getting it for $20/per SANS the "box." I STILL haven't tried it.

Eric,

i had the opportunity to try "The Bob" when I was there in April(though it was still a hush hush thing then), now that it has been mentioned I found it to be very enjoyable.

The port from the barrel was also yummy!!

Oops...was that a secret thing too? I believe she said it was 4 years away from being released. I wanted to buy some, as well as the "bob".

DavidN...we are ready for you tomorrow...ERIC!!! I forgot to let you taste the port! What was I thinking. You and your lovely wife must come and see us and taste the port and a few other things that I may have forgotten...like the 2002 cab franc did I just say that???

CG - go back and read my post above with notes on the wines - we did try the '02 Cab Franc, and it was yummy!. Darn the bad luck, I guess I'll just have to come back again to try the Port. Perhaps when I come by to pick up that 'Lot C'!

Rats, the time has expired to be able to edit my post above - the correction that needs to be noted is that we tasted the 1999 Bond NOT the 2000.

Cavegirl and Caveman,

Thank you so much for the wonderful time! We really appreciated you two going out of your way to take such good care of us! The wines were wonderful. I really was impressed with the way the 2001 Cave Blend is shapping up. We really liked the David, the Cab Franc, the Port was fabulous, and the Lot C. Thanks also for the dinner it was a great time, and much appreciated. It made a great anniversary party!

Dave, and Yolanda DelDotto,

Thanks for the great time. It was a pleasure meeting you both. Thank you for the anniversary gift, chocolate and wine, what a great combination!

Eric,

It was the 1999 Matriarch that we brought. My WOTN. Everyone was posting how that this stuff was too expensive, and now everyone is scrambling to get some. LOL! I am glad I took my full allocation!

I think you should go back and taste the Port, I was very excited about this! I think you left early, we went back and did another barrel tasting at 9:30.
