| OK, I am an idiot. Mbansek advised me he will be in town visiting and he'd love to meet the DC Crü folks as well as any sort of close folks that would be willing to make the trek for a wine dinner thing.
I, like an idiot, have forgotten to alert y'all to this fact and now it is May 11th and Saturday May 20th is fast approaching. MB said May 21st or even May 22nd might work, too, but I believe May 20th will be best for everyone with a likely slightly later start time of say 730 or 800pm.
Please let me know ASAP if you'd like to participate. Sorry for the short notice! So hello DC Crü and let me know. And any of the greater Virginia, Delaware, southern Pennsylvania and even southern NJ folks let me know if you can make it too.
I'll nail down a venue as oon as I have a very rough idea of the total number of folks who'd like to join in on the fun.
Thanks!!!

| What about Monday night (5/22)? As cork suckage said, our fame has spread near and far and commands us to NH that weekend. I would love to hook up with Mike though. | | | |

| I'm unfortunately going to some wine event at Mount Vernon that evening. Don't want to, but it's work-related. | | | "We are the Hokies!" | |

| Since it sounds like May 20th is a no-go, what about dinner on Monday, May 22nd? I'm okay for that night if the rest of the Cru and Mike are still around....

| Well, I am still up for a Saturday thing, which would actually work better for me. T-Rep, does Saturday work for you or no?
If not, we can see about Monday instead. It seems Johnny and maybe Corkage might be ready.... | | | www.roguefood.com -- www.cellartracker.com

| I just responded to TJ's PM on WD, but thought I would post it here.
Either night works for us...or both. Saturday has the potential issue of a late arriving flight, though it should not be an issue this time of year.
Keep in mind that either way, it is now more likely than not that Blake will be with us. No luck so far on a baby sitter for him. He should be very well behaved, unless he is dead tired or wound up. But the time difference should work in our favor. That being said, a small private room would be nice, in case he needs to lay down, but not a requirement.
Also, as far as restaurants, it may be easier to get in on a Monday than a Saturday, but that is up to my host and you guys to determine. And it does not have to be the most expensive restaurant in town, unless you guys think it is worth it. So we are OK with an expensive one one nght, and moderate another. And even if only one couple can get away to join us, we will still be on.
Also, we are not planning to rent a car, so public transport availability is a plus.
Anyway, whatever you guys want to do will be the plan. We will be happy to do dinner on both nights to accomodate as many of the locals as possible, since we have to eat every night anyway.
Well, OK, we don't HAVE to eat every night. But odds are, we will.

| T-Rep and MB... We could do something on Saturday the 20th sure.
But we could also just move it all to Monday the 22nd. The only issue with Mondays are the venue choices are slimmer as many places are closed on Mondays, but we could always go to Lavandou.
Could those of you who said they COULD make it on Monday the 22nd please verify again if you can?
Thanks! | | | www.roguefood.com -- www.cellartracker.com

| So it turns out that Mrs. T is traveling to Raleigh, NC on May 21st and doesn't want to do dinner on the 20th....sorry Mike. Doing dinner on May 22nd will actually be the best for me since Mrs. T will be out of town. TJ, if you're not able to do the 20th, let me know and I'll be happy to find a place in DC to do dinner.
