| Hey DC Folks!
Looks like I'll be in DC on a business trip. Anyone interested in drinking some good wine? Perhaps we can revisit the place that Doc had his offline at last week.
So far, I have the following:

| Norm/Lafon....
I'd love to join a dinner on the 15th but I have a tentative business related function scheduled in Baltimore on that evening. I'll find out tomorrow if it's going to take place and advise after that. Hope it works out!!

It's always the "one up" game with you isn't it! Oh well at least I know I'll be making turns in knee deep snow by noon that day and you'll be.....still on an airplane!! | | | "It's better to have your enemies inside the tent pissing out, then outside the tent pissing in." -- Lyndon Johnson

Just keep drinking throughout the night and the morning and you won't have a hangover until the flight is over
Weekdays are evil for me because of the combination of work and horrible traffic. I am interested, though, so but me down as a strong maybe.

| Can someone hook us up with a place or shall we go to the one that you had Doc's offline at? | | | |

| I think Doc's offline (which did not include Doc, right?) was at Palena. I still can't commit, but while we are waiting for some confirmed people to chime in, I will say that Palena sounds like a very good choice. I think the table limit is 6, but so far that does not sound like it will be a problem. | | | |

| So far, we have:
Yes's: Lafon-1 Kesha-1 Capitolkat-1
Maybe's: Corkage Raybanz
Jamietown has offered up some great restaurants and I
Komi Palena Corduroy Sushiko Dino
Any preferences? or I'll make an executive decision.

| Put me down as a maybe. I have to check and see if I am already committed for that night by the wife.
Remember Corduroy has a three bottle per table limit for corkage. Palena was great, but the corkage fee is $20 per bottle. Dino is another good choice, and Dean is a great host. He also has a fantastic wine list. I've not been to Komi (I missed the dinner there with the rest of you guys) but I understand it is excellent. Sushiko would be good too, but good sushi limits itself to Champagne or Pinot Noir in my book, maybe some great whites too.
You haven't said where you are staying, so I can't say what is convenient (though getting around DC on the METRO is fairly easy) but there are lots of places that permit corkage and have good food.
