Bacar in SOMA (San Francisco) is doing half off their list of California wines tonight. I just found out, and snagged a reservation for 8pm. If anyone is interested in heading over, please send me a PM. Here is Bacar's list: http://www.bacarsf.com/images/wine/winebtb_08.pdf I understand that some large formats and very expensive wines (i.e., the Screagle) may not be included, but there still should be plenty of great deals. Jim, Is it just tonight or is it every Tuesday night this month? I think if I wore my Groucho glasses and mustache they might let me in.

Usually it's the first Monday of the month, and they pick a section of the wine list to discount.

Hope you guys had as good a time as we did. Didn't know that you were there. You should have come up. If you heard loud laughing from the 2nd floor, it was the 10 of us drinking some pretty good wine with Pyang, Drab, a bunch of lawyers, the Wagners, and Grape Ape. It was Paul's, the new sommelier, first night there.
