Everett, welcome to vinocellar. We were glad to have you join us at the last DC Cru dinner. One should never have to eat alone if there is a racous group at the next table drinking too much wine. We were happy to share with a fellow wine lover.

You shouldn't have any problem finding folks in Southern Cal to taste with, just keep an eye out here on VC.

Yes. Welcome Everett. This is a great place to learn, read tasting notes, and meet fun people to enjoy wine with. I hope you enjoy the site and continue to visit.

Hello DC Crew,

I was the guy you invited to your table at Corduroy's. Thank you very much for your generousity. My 2 cases of the Prima arrived yesterday, and I have to say it is a great tempranillo. Also, I purchase a six pack of the Match and Neal Vineyards and look forward to an occasion to crack them. Thanks again for sharing. I am looking forward to hooking up with a crew from Southern California.

Everett

Everett-
Welcome. That dinner was a great time. My 6 hours in the car the next day was not. Post lots man and enjoy that Match and Neal. If your in town on business again either post here and let us know of send one of us a PM and we'll try and put together a dinner. It's nice to have enablers all over the country.

Everett...

Ditto what the rest of the Cru has said about meeting you/etc.....if you head back to DC on biz or pleasure, be sure to let us know, since we obviously need very little reason to get together to eat, drink and carouse....

Doc, sorry you can't come and good luck on your travels. Hopefully next time we will be brave enough to have everyone over for dinner. Baby steps, baby steps.

I'm not trying to disuade you from opening a Bressler but the experiance may be dissapointing. I myself have not opened one yet but from the discussion above the 01 is closing down and depending on how many you have it may be frustrating because it's going to be SO blockbuster in a few years. Just a thought... carry on.

Cheers

Supposedly the 2000 Bressler is drinking quite well now (I think) and I might bring that as mine. Not sure yet, gotta go check the inventory on Cellartracker.

I think that it would be interesting to try a 2001 Bressler. Of course, if we end up trying a 2000 and 2001, all the better!

Definitely worth some thought. I will consider what else i might have to bring and make sure to keep David Z in the loop. I still think it might be interesting.

Mark, great news. I was a recent lurker too. Come out to the light! I used to love going to visit Justin. An investment banker made good.

Group, due to some cancellations, etc., we are down to 5 tasters for this event (Mrs. David Z is more of a sipper).

I think that we should call this one for lack of interest. If you take into account the inevitable last minute cancellations, we'll be a small group indeed! Let's reschedule for some future date. Purplehaze, stick with us. We are usually a more robust group!

I'm interested, just not in town.

So David, does this mean you're organizing June??

Seriously cru, my wife and I have our second baby coming June 22 at 7:30 a.m. via scheduled c-section . I need another offline before then.....big time.....After that I'll be a little tied up, me thinks. I'll even be happy to meet up with a couple of you guys for a mini offline somewhere.....a full-fledged meal isn't necessarily a must. Just some cheeses and the wines and the number for Yellow cab will due.
