| Stealth is going to be in NYC this Saturday evening and we're planning a dinner in the city. We could do a BYO or buy off a wine list. Anybody interested in joining us? | | |

| Anybody who wants to attend this MUST post here by tomorrow evening. Be sure to include the number of people in your party. I have a 1990 Cos d'Estournel standing up (RP-95) and plenty of other wines available. | | | |

| LCC, be sure to go to Met early. We tried to get to that exhibit back in January and the line snaked around the entire building. | | | |

| I just got back... I flew to Las Vegas Sunday 3/2 after the Merlot dinner and was there on business last wk and then Phoenix visiting my sis for the wknd- so got back on Sun night. Then the Bdwy strike threw my Monday into a Tizzy... so to sum it up I have been buried catching up on my work and my vinocellar.com! But, thanks for asking. I missed drinking wine last week! | | | |

| Yea, there was no good wine by the glass at my conference at the Paris in Las Vegas! So I had to resort to some of those fruity & fun martinis,... green apple, flirtini,a French Cosmopolitan and a Chocolate Martini! & All of those were Yummy!

| Start thinking about what you might like to bring on Saturday. I'm thinking of a magnum of a 98+ point Parker wine that just approaching its peak now. | | | |

| It's short notice. I guess we should each bring a bottle. We can always buy a bottle or two off the wine list. We'll need two bottles of white and the remainder red. I can also bring a half bottle of Buller Fine Tokay. Maybe someone else can also bring a dessert wine. I'll bring a Bordeaux. Whatever people bring will be OK. It's kind of a pickup dinner and I'm sure we'll enjoy everything. I've been looking for an occasion to open this Bordeaux. I'll keep you in suspense for a little while. | | | |

| No theme. Good. Makes it interesting to compare the differences in Wines when they are consumed simultaneously. Really see the difference in style, taste, texture, approach, etc...
I guess Board_O just set the bar quite high @ 98Parker points. No problem.
I will bring a White & a Red. Dessert Wines are not my strength.

| 98+
OK. So we'll need one more white. It looks like we'll have 11 people. Maybe we should try to get two bottles of each wine. Mine is a magnum. If people bring two bottles of the same wine, we'd certainly have more than a couple of sips of each. Let me know what you think. If we have a bunch of different wines, I'd guess that would be OK too.
I spoke to Stealth last night. He should be arriving in Albany soon. I'm going to speak with him tonight and might suggest he pick up a bottle when he gets to the city.
I'm not really worried about this at all. We have a good group and all know each other personally, with the exception of Stealth. In fact, we all together in the smokehouse...I mean the Wainwright Inn 11 days ago.
