| *POOF*
There go the last 12 bottles. They're heading to a nice peaceful cellar in Maine.
John at PJWine said "yeah, these are going fast. Some guy bought three cases this morning as soon as we opened up and he's coming by this afternoon to pick them up".
Gee, LCC, wonder who THAT could be?!?
He also mentioned a Marquis Philips dinner (with Sparky & Sarah) at TriBeCa Grill on Feb 11 where he'll have some Integrity, S9, Hendry's Drive, and others available. Is anyone planning on going to this dinner? If so, let's develop a shopping list ... the wines won't be available before then. He's sending an email with more details if you guys haven't seen this yet.

| Oh, that HURT!
As I was writing this, PJ Wine called. Said I only had nine, not twelve, and he can't ship to Maine OR Tennessee. Good thing LCC is going to be there to pick up his three cases ... now he's got nine more bottles to lug.
Thanks for the help, LCC!

| The weird Numanthia pusher back again...
Bad news - someone found out we were snarking a large share of the Numanthia in the Southwest so we are now cut off. If anymore comes in I'm going to buy more but for now we are SOL.
Sorry about that folks!

| So, somebody found out that there were paying customers in Texas so they decided to move the inventory elsewhere? Something doesn't sound right. This isn't the same wholesaler and/or retailer that apparently lied to Texans about what quantities of '01 Donnhoff they were getting (reference to a thread on the Parker board a while ago) is it?
Oh, and ... I SURE AM GLAD THAT I BOUGHT MINE FROM JOHN AT PJWINE IN NYC! HE'S THE BEST, AND HE WOULD NEVER LET US GO WITHOUT GREAT WINE!
That was pretty subtle, wasn't it?

| Okay ---- now who here is going to *drink* this wine instead of talk about it???
To my knowledge, only ojeffso2, armar one, Dr Tannin, and a few others have actually tried it.
I'm dying to see some other impressions!

| Well, since I started this tasting note, I can tell you that this wine is fantastic, Short. 95 pts and should improve plenty over the next 3-10 years. I don't have much interest in flipping this wine, and since I have 8 bottles, I will try it again some time in the next 6 months.

| STW - yes, it is fantastic. My tasting was brief and non-decanted but it had structure, weight and just about every good attribute that wine can have. It blew my sockies off! At $31 is might be the QPR winner of the year but needs time in the bottle. Sadly I'm thinking about decanting a bottle for a long while and trying a loooonnng taste. | | | |

| I'm 1300 miles from my closest bottle. I'd love to try it, if someone would loan me one for a while!

| Disclaimer: To be honest, this baby never really opened for me (3+ hours).
Now TNs & my thoughts on it: WOW. I will Not get into the TNs specifics. Tasted a lot of cherry, some chocolate, & berry. This baby needs time. The potential of this Wine is...I can only imagine.
There are very few Wines that leave an impression. This is 1 of them. Never really opened & so much flavor, fruit, FULL-body, power, elegant. I wait for the day when it matures.
I believe it was ojeffso & winebrat that said, “Buy this in Cases/Bulk…”. I did. They beat me to the punch. That was good advice from good Wine-guys.
I Never had a WOW (potential WOW) @ this Price before. I cannot say enough good things about this beauty.
I bought (so far) about 45 bottles. Not enough. Not enough.
For those that have it...ENJOY. For those that do Not, seek it out like its the last bottle of Wine on earth. Really, impressive. And, for the $$$... I challenge any one to find a contender...
