| About $7 from a Odd Lots in Albany.
A nice dark clear redish-purple color, the nose presents lively brambly notes not dissimilar from a young Zinfandel, along with some pine and cypress notes. A bit thin in the mid palate, but providing ample acidity and ripe fruit framed by some serious oak treatment, along with some rustic earthy notes. A decent effort and decent QPR, but lacks stuffing and structure. 82 points, drink now. | | | |
