2004 Bodegas Castaño Monastrell Yecla Hécula - Spain, Murcia, Yecla (6/22/2008)

Tasted June 22, 2008.

14.5% alcohol. Opened and served immediately. Dark garnet to purple color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of berries, light smoke, plums, maybe some cherries. Flavors of berries and cherries. Medium acidity, tannins and body. Drink over the shorter term. (88 pts.)
